In the last months of 2012, we witnessed a boost in the number of italian collaborative platforms and start-ups, now over 120 nationally. The number of users is quickly growing, too, and the media coverage of collaborative consumption themes and stories is getting wider by the day. Another good news is that the public sector is starting to support collaborative startups and planning to allocate €110M to encourage innovation.
In this rapidly changing scenario, there are some steps that could help Italian collaborative consumption to boom, such as building a network of entrepreneurs, spreading awareness among a wider audience and finding creative ways to economically support new start-ups.
